Double Occupancy: $368.37 per person

Package includes:

  • four nights of housing
  • four breakfasts, four lunches and two dinners
  • $20 nonrefundable Housing Reservation Fee
  • applicable sales tax

The housing fee is per person and includes 4 nights of accommodations and meals, beginning with breakfast on Monday, August 13 through breakfast on Thursday, August 16. The housing fee does not include the meeting registration fee. If requesting a particular roommate be sure that each of you request the other as a roommate on the reservation form. Roommates will only be housed together if both people involved request each other.

The University of Washington is a pedestrian campus, and the residence halls are within a ten to fifteen minute walk of most meeting facilities on campus. Housing and dining services are offered as a package plan for Sunday, August 12 through breakfast on Thursday, August 16, 2018. There is no credit for shorter stays or unused dining allotments. Reservations are nontransferable. Each guest must fill out a separate reservation form and submit payment. Reservations and full payment must be submitted no later than Friday, June 29, 2018. Reservations received after this date are charged a $25 late reservation fee (plus applicable tax) and are only processed on a space-available basis.

Conference guests will reside in double or single occupancy rooms with private baths on west campus. All rooms are furnished with twin-size beds, desks, night stands, dressers, bedding, towels, a small fan, soap, toilet paper, and drinking cups. Housekeeping exchanges guest towels and empties wastebaskets each day.

Children eight years of age or younger may bring a sleeping bag to use on the floor of a fully-occupied room at no additional charge. Children nine years of age or older must occupy a bed and are charged the full package rate. A fully occupied room is one in which all available beds have been paid for at the package rate. Cots, cribs, or extra bedding for children are neither provided nor available.

Telephones that provide guests with free local calls are available at the conference desk. Residence halls are not air conditioned. Smoking is prohibited everywhere on campus, including the residence hall sleeping rooms.

Housing Cancellations

If you must cancel your housing, please contact confhouse@u.washington.edu. Due to housing guarantees, individuals who cancel after July 22, 2018 will not be entitled to a refund unless a substitution can be made.

Check-in

Check-in begins at 2:00 pm on Sunday, August 12. Depending on where you are housed, go the front desk at Lander Hall, McCarty Hall, or McMahon Hall to check into your room. McMahon Hall is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. At check-in you will receive a Conference Card which acts as your room key and meal card. These cards must be treated and safeguarded like cash. The front desk can provide information about the campus, dining options both on and off campus, transportation, and area attractions. Check-out is by11:00 am on Thursday, August 16, 2018.
