The Oval Room
Politicos won’t want to miss indulging in a meal at The Oval, a known favorite of members of Congress and lobbyists. Located near the White House, this refined restaurant offers traditional steakhouse fare with an upscale twist.

Ben’s Chili Bowl

Entertainment and nightlife

Potomac Riverboat Company
While you could take a taxi or an Uber from National Harbor to DC, why miss a chance to enjoy some scenic views on the way? The Potomac Riverboat Company runs a Wharf Water Taxi network offering roundtrip service between National Harbor and popular DC neighborhoods. The company also offers designated sightseeing tours of landmarks like Mount Vernon and the national monuments.

Bobby McKey’s Dueling Piano Bar
Bobby McKey’s is an ideal spot for those looking for an entertaining and unique night out in National Harbor. One reviewer raved that the experience became the “buzz of the conference” she attended.

Nationals Park
Sports fans can take advantage of the nearby Nationals Park, home of DC’s Major League Baseball team. Groups of 13 or more are eligible for discounted tickets and special benefits, making the park a great option for a team outing.

The Capital Wheel
From 180 feet above the Potomac River aboard the Capital Wheel, attendees will experience striking views of the National Cathedral, Washington Monument, City of Alexandria, and Prince George’s County. It’s a great way to sightsee without ever having to leave National Harbor.

Cherry blossoms
Though DC’s famous cherry blossoms usually hit their peak in early April, there will likely be blooms left to enjoy while TAGC is in town. Take a ride up to the city to see one of its most iconic and photo-worthy sights.

Historical & political landmarks
No trip to the DC area is complete without visits to iconic landmarks such as the White House, the Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument, Capitol Hill, and the Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial. Any one of these sights alone is worth the short drive from National Harbor!
