GSA is proud to support geneticists using the mouse as a model organism. In 2011, GSA teamed up with IMGS and CTC to host the first Mouse Genetics Conference in Washington, DC. The meeting featured plenary sessions focused on disease models, preclinical translation, systems genetics, and large scale resources for the community. In 2012, GSA hosted the Mouse Molecular Genetics (MMG) conference at the Asilomar conference grounds in Pacific Grove, California, with plenary sessions in topics ranging from development to models of human disease. Mouse Molecular Genetics convened again at Asilomar in fall 2014. In 2016, the MMG Conference joined up with IMGS for the Mouse Genetics Conference held as part of the GSA’s Allied Genetics Conference in Orlando, Florida.
