American University is located within a few miles of some of Washington, DC’s most historic sites. Art, history, culture, and outdoor entertainment are all easily available.
Fees will be available in November 2017.
The housing fee is per person and includes 5 nights of accommodations and meals beginning with dinner on Tuesday, July 17 through breakfast on Sunday, July 22. The housing fee does not include the meeting registration fee. There will be no refunds for missed meals and/or late arrivals or early departures. Single and double accommodations will be available. Attendees will indicate their housing preference when they register for the meeting. If requesting a particular roommate be sure that each of you request the other as a roommate on the reservation form. Roommates will only be housed together if both people involved request each other.
If you must cancel your housing, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Due to housing guarantees, individuals who cancel after May 30 will not be entitled to a refund unless a substitution can be made.
To check in to your room, go to the front desk in Federal Hall on East Campus. The desk will be staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. At check-in you will receive a Summer Guest Card which acts as your room key and meal card. The front desk can provide information about campus, dining options on and off campus, transportation and area attractions.
